Winter landscapes around Hartbeespoort dam

The following series of photographs were take at the Pecanwood Golf Estate on the banks of the Hartbeespoort dam in the North West Province, South Africa. They were taken during the winter season when the region essentially looks rather drab. However, by capturing the misty conditions it makes the images more interesting and gives them a sense of mystery.
