They cover the same scene over a two year period and show a home that undergoes a transformation during this period. I enjoy revisiting and shooting this scene from time to time. This has resulted in me capturing a series of images depicting the progress of the demolition of part of the home and the subsequent extension that was built on. du Toitskloof

These three photographs were taken during our trip to Cape Town earlier this year. They were captured between 05:22 and 05:52 in the morning as we exited the du Toitskloof pass just outside Paarl. Photo descriptions Bottom Right:- After exiting the pass, I pulled the car over into a vacant parking area. We looked back to where we had just come from and saw this beautiful morning view of the cutting. Top Right:- This is the winding road down the mountain that we took which led us past Paarl and into Cape Town. Winter landscapes around Hartbeespoort dam

The following series of photographs were take at the Pecanwood Golf Estate on the banks of the Hartbeespoort dam in the North West Province, South Africa. They were taken during the winter season when the region essentially looks rather drab. However, by capturing the misty conditions it makes the images more interesting and gives them a sense of mystery.
